dense fog has developed across portions of southeast alabama and the florida panhandle this morning. visibility across the area is reduced below one quarter mile and will create hazardous driving conditions this morning. the fog should burn off by mid morning.

the National Weather Service in tallahassee has issued a dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM CDT this morning.

* visibility, one quarter mile or less.

* impacts, hazardous driving conditions can be expected in areas of dense fog.

precautionary/preparedness actions…

a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. if driving, slow down… use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
